Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!!

I got to ring in this year doing my favorite thing – taking pictures!!! Jess and Jay had a fantastic New Year’s Eve wedding with all the trimmings. They were both so relaxed and happy, it made my job easy!

One of the fun things for me about having a second shooter is when I get to download their images and see what they were up to all day! This picture cracked me up, and I knew Jeff did it on purpose....love American Pie in the background.

I just love this shot of Jess and her dad....he looks like he is barely keeping it together! So sweet.

Isn't this a cool lighting fixture....reminded me of the NYE ball in Times Square!

There is so much cool art in this hotel....couldn't resist this painting with hearts in it.

The room looked amazing, between the lighting and the flowers. It didn't hurt that Blue Ivy events was there making sure everything ran super-smooth!

These two are super-huge Dave Matthews Band fans...there were references to it throughout the night - even during the ceremony. Of course only fitting that their first dance was a DMB song.

The dance floor was kickin' all night long - even a synchronized dance to a MJ song, complete with light-up gloves!

Hello and Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!

2011 was an amazing year, and 2012 is going to be even better! I have more weddings booked at this point in the year than I ever have since I started in 2003. Which, I guess makes this my TENTH season shooting weddings! Unbelievable.

I shot a fantastic NYE wedding which will be coming soon, but first is a December wedding that I shot before Christmas. Jennifer and Anthony had a lovely evening affair in Boston, and even though it was pretty darn chilly, we went for a little stroll down Commonwealth Avenue for some photos.

Isn't the space so beautiful and dramatic?

The ceremony was very sweet - Jennifer's dad officiated. They even had a reading by Madeleine L'Engle that I had at my wedding! Love this look Jennifer's sister is giving her mother.

Hope you are all enjoying the spirit of the season! It was a great year, and 2012 is going to be even busier, I can’t believe it. I’m checking out for about a week or so….shooting a NYE wedding and then back in business the first week of January.

Hello everybody!!!

Hope you are all enjoying the wonderful craziness of this season! I have been mostly working on all of my clients’ holiday cards and prints….hopefully I will have a couple days left to buy some gifts and come up with my own card – the pressure!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kristen and Chris who are recently engaged and planning a wedding for May of 2013. Sounds early, but everything books up so early these days!

So, even though we started in an area that I have shot at several times before, we went to a bunch of different spots that I have never been before which was so fun for me.

Kristen is a huge fan of purple, which anyone who knows me (or takes a look at this blog!!) knows that I am too. I was totally jealous of her fabulous purple coat which she just picked up for this occasion.

How great is the garland & lights on the bridge? Love it!

So nice to meet you both.....May at Gibbet Hill will be here before you know it!! And my husband (and several of my neighbors) thank you for having your engagement shoot in Boston so I could bring home a giant bag of Anna's Taqueria - yum!!! Hope you had a great dinner out.
