Hey everybody!
Guess what? I have another great Cape wedding for you. I hope you are all enjoying them as much as I am, because there are LOTS more coming up! This was a Memorial Day weekend wedding. Manny and Lindsey were planning their Cape Cod wedding from Chicago, so I only got to meet them a few weeks before the big day. They might live in Chicago right now, but it was pretty clear that their hearts belong in Massachusetts.
I started with the ladies, where even the outside of the house tied into their theme!!

So, I typically ask my clients the maker of their dress and where they got it. Mostly so I can pass all that info along to you, my lovely blog readers. I know that a lot of you have picked up cute ideas from other weddings, and I try to make it nice and easy to track down the vendors. Well……Lindsey said that her dress was a Pnina Tornai and that she got it at Kleinfeld’s! Gah! So exciting! And……..she had Dianne as a sales consultant!!! Of course I had to stop and ask a million questions……..was it fun? did it look just like it does on tv? You would think that I get enough wedding stuff in my work, but for whatever reason I love watching that show and my husband gives me grief because at any given point there are about 18 episodes clogging up the DVR. Anyway….moving on……the dress was gorgeous. (still wondering if Vera helped with alterations….)
Meanwhile, Meg was over with the guys doing the guy thing.
This was the third time in one month that I got to photograph Meredith Fancy’s beautiful flowers! (my own wedding florist, for anyone who is just joining us…)
Married!
I’ve shot at this church back in 2007 and it has such pretty grounds, which is rare. Especially when weather is on the sketchy side, I’m a big fan of just getting a few quick photos “in the bank” before we go anywhere!!! (ps – Manny, that reflection shot is for you!!)
Off to Popponesset and their pretty beach for more photos! I thought it was so gorgeous. Lindsey didn’t believe me, but look how cool it is that you can’t tell where the ocean ends and the sky starts! Looks just like a painting. Love the pop of color that the dresses and flowers bring.

The last time I was at Popponesset, the inside of the tent had giant blue and white stripes – at the time it was actually kind of awesome, because it was a blue & white (& pink) themed wedding……Manny & Lindsey had fabric draping on the inside of the tent which looked perfect.
These guys went totally nuts on the dance floor, which always makes it fun for me…
Congratulations you two!!!! I think you are returning from your honeymoon shortly – hope it was fabulous!!!
