Hello my blog stalkers!!  (and you know who you are!)  As summer is drawing to a close, I still have quite a few summer weddings to show you.   Here is the latest………

Jennifer and David had an absolutely spectacular day on the cape for their wedding.  It took place at the lovely New Seabury Country Club, where Jennifer’s parents are lucky enough to be members.

So………is it any surprise I was in love with her shoes?  Purple!!!

Loved all of the bridesmaids’ bouquets…

Jennifer and David chose to see each other before the ceremony, so we did all of the family & formal pictures before the ceremony.

Even their dog got in on the action!

The appetizers looked amazing………if caprese on a stick and sushi don’t do it for you…

How about sliders??

So, since we had already done all of the formals before the ceremony, we grabbed a dozen golf carts and drove down to the beach for some fun pictures!!  The light and weather couldn’t have been better.

The room looked amazing….lighting, flowers, everything.

Beantown was there – they are one of my FAVORITE wedding bands………they get everyone out on the dance floor before the bridal party is even introduced.

Jennifer and David danced their first dance to “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie – awesome!!!!!!

So, if delicious cake isn’t enough for you, how about passed mini-ice cream cones?  Yum!!

I love when I tell people that I’m a wedding photographer and they say that it must be nice to have winters off. HA!! If it wasn’t for February and March, I don’t think my taxes would ever get done, my website updated, or any new samples made!

However, one of the things that I do spend quite a bit of time on is designing and printing albums for all of my clients from the past year. It is very much a collaborative process, with my clients telling me what their favorite images are and their design preferences, and then I give them layouts to approve.

Here are a few that have been in the works the last month…

That one is a matted album - white pages with black trim. This next one is also a matted album, but with black pages and white trim. I love that I can make the openings any size I want!

These next samples are all flush-mount or coffee table style albums. I seem to have a lot of clients ordering these this year! The image covers the entire page, and you can layer images if you like, or just keep it simple.

Hurricane, Schmurricane!!! Bring on the beach wedding!!!

Erin and Dave held their breath in the days approaching their wedding, but Mother Nature smiled on them and Hurricane Bill avoided their festivities, and only provided a light rain shower at the end of the evening. They might look familiar, we did an engagement session last fall, and they had their adorable lab, Murphy with them.

This is Murphy with Erin’s parents’ dog on the porch…they were sequestered out on the porch while Erin and the girls were getting ready. I love how they are framed by the doors.

OK, so these were the favors for the rehearsal dinner, but look how cute!

How great is Erin’s headpiece and back of her dress?

I also loved the navy blue and pink theme!

We did a couple pictures with Erin and Murphy, and when she had to say goodbye to him, she started crying because she wasn’t going to see him for a couple weeks!!! We all had to laugh a bit that THIS is when the tears started….

So, if you had to guess….doesn’t this look like late afternoon sunlight? I shot this when it was pitch black out…used a video light and some fill flash.

Erin & David were actually referred to me from Catherine and Kevin, whose wedding I shot last summer. Kevin was a little more mild-mannered at his own wedding, but certainly let loose at Erin & Dave’s!
