Hello and Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!

2011 was an amazing year, and 2012 is going to be even better! I have more weddings booked at this point in the year than I ever have since I started in 2003. Which, I guess makes this my TENTH season shooting weddings! Unbelievable.

I shot a fantastic NYE wedding which will be coming soon, but first is a December wedding that I shot before Christmas. Jennifer and Anthony had a lovely evening affair in Boston, and even though it was pretty darn chilly, we went for a little stroll down Commonwealth Avenue for some photos.

Isn't the space so beautiful and dramatic?

The ceremony was very sweet - Jennifer's dad officiated. They even had a reading by Madeleine L'Engle that I had at my wedding! Love this look Jennifer's sister is giving her mother.

Congratulations Jennifer + Anthony! I'm sure you made everyone jealous with your tropical glow when you came home for the holidays!

Hope you are all enjoying the spirit of the season! It was a great year, and 2012 is going to be even busier, I can’t believe it. I’m checking out for about a week or so….shooting a NYE wedding and then back in business the first week of January.

If you have an urgent issue, I will do my best to get back to you, but for the most part….the studio will be closed.

why hello there! notice anything different around here?

Happy December everyone!

Here are some images from Amy & Stephen’s big day, exactly one month ago!

They had a beautiful November day for their wedding – everything was at the Charles Hotel, so no worries about going here & there. I started in Amy’s room with her beautiful bouquet, which had something blue on it, too!

I was lucky enough to be working with the most-excellent Jeff Newcum, who started out with the guys.

We must have been on the same wavelength, because here is what I was getting at the same time....

So, Amy was just a * little * shoe obsessed. There were the ceremony shoes, hora shoes, reception shoes, and "comfy shoes", which still had a 4-inch heel, mind you!!!

Stephen is a dentist, and these were the favors for out-of-town guests - adorable!

Here is a great shot of their parents- the friends that started it all! They lived next door to one another right after they were married, and became best friends. Amy and Stephen have literally known each other all of their lives!!! I have lots of conversations with my friends about our kids one day getting married, but never knew it could actually happen!

Next to the table with all of their family photos, they had both of their mother's wedding dresses on display. How cool is that?

After the ceremony, it was time for Yichud. A time for them to have some private moments, reflect on the day's events.....and, of course, update their facebook statuses!!!!!!!! Married!!!!!!

It wasn't too cold, so we snuck outside for a few more pictures before they joined the cocktail hour...
