Hello everyone!

Here are some images from Robin and Griffin’s gorgeous wedding day on Cape Cod. Even though they are fairly close by, I didn’t meet these two in person until shortly before the wedding. I got to hear the story of how they met (adorable, more on that later…), and get all the info on their wedding party, including all ELEVEN groomsmen!

I started at Robin’s family house. How nice to have loved ones who spend so much time making these hand-crafted treasures for you….

Robin and her sisters spent summers growing up in this house, and they have their height marks on the side of the closet where her dress was hanging. So sweet! I also love her belt she had made for her dress.

Love this one of her dad staying out of the ladies’ way out on the porch.

Stunning!

Her flowers were done by Flowers by Victoria, which is how Robin found me, as she’s not only a great florist, but family to Robin!

Meanwhile, Amy was hanging out with all of the groomsmen at the church. As their groomsmen gift, they all received monogrammed Italian slippers that they wore with their tuxes. So much better than plastic rental shoes!

Cute flower girl and ring bearers? Check, check and check.

So, I’m pretty certain when my brides ask me to be sure that I get a shot of the groom as they are coming down the aisle, this is the shot they are all hoping for….

So, as my past clients know….before the wedding I have a questionnaire full of some seemingly random questions we go over….(any drama I need to know about? are you a blinker? back up cell phone number?)….and one of the questions is about any photography restrictions during the ceremony. As a rule, I try to keep a low profile, and pretty much only use flash during the processional and recessional. Robin and Griffin said that photography was fine, just nothing disruptive. As I approached the church, the representative from the church informed me that they was no photography allowed during the ceremony. At all. Zip. Zero. Nada.
This is probably a case of a bad apple spoiling it for the whole bunch. Well…no problem…..just grabbed my long lens and stood OUTSIDE of the church to get these.

We ducked back into the church just so I could get a few more a bit closer.

I never got the story on these custom illustrated sneaks, but I’m dying to know! I love them!

I was also coveting their kate spade cake knife and server..

So, Robin and Griffin met at the bus stop. How adorable is that? There was a rainy day…he shared his umbrella……do you see where I’m going with this? Their first song was Bus Stop by the Hollies.
