Hello everyone!!!
Hope that you are all enjoying this most bizarre fall ever!!! Nothing like losing power for two days to make the work flow even more interesting! I have a feeling that Andrea has been refreshing my website every hour or so for the last week….so without further ado…here we go!!
As you can see, Andrea and Steve had a beautiful blue sky fall day for their wedding. I started with the girls at the Westin.
Katie was over with the guys for the tie-straightening and cuff-link tweaking...
We all headed off to the church....since it was a Friday, Andrea wanted to beat the traffic and be there a half hour before the ceremony was supposed to start. Plenty of time to get fun limo shots!
Now, for the first time EVER in my experience.....the bride was early, and the priest was late!!! There was a mix-up about the starting time, and he didn't arrive until a half hour after the ceremony was scheduled to start. Everyone opted to keep Andrea in the dark until right before the ceremony. I just took the opportunity for more pictures!! Seriously......give me two minutes of down time at any point during the day, and I will seize the time for more pictures. Elevator stuck? More pictures! Waiting for your bridesmaid to come and bustle your dress? More pictures!
Because of the rather unusual start to the ceremony, Andrea and Steve had a hard time keeping a straight face for part of the ceremony. At one point, they were having an outright giggle fit. Here they are doing their best to keep it together.
Married!
After the ceremony, we cruised on over to the Pierce House, which looked just gorgeous.
During Steve's dance with his mom, they did a spirited sing-a-long with "I Will Always Love You" - love it.
Congrats Steve and Andrea!! You guys had a great day - and I especially enjoyed those retro 80's hits.......first time I've heard The Final Countdown and Glory of Love at a wedding!! Hope you had a great honeymoon in Hawaii (how could you not??!). The full gallery will be up in a couple days.
