Lauren and Peter thought they would keep it simple and have their wedding at home. This works out well, especially when you live in Longwood Towers!! They had a rainy, cool November night…which is just fine when you are ensconced in such a cozy place.
Meghann started off with the guys…
I was with the ladies....hel-LOOOOOOOO fabulous purple shoes and feathery purse!!!
The best part of the ceremony was when the officiant gave Lauren a line of her vows and she didn't respond. She was taking a moment to compose herself...he started to repeat the line and she says "Oh I heard you!". Classic.
A quick private moment right after coming down the aisle. I didn't want to intrude....so I just hung out around the corner.
The groomsmen performing a Brady Bunch routine for me....
Lauren surprised Peter by singing to him right after they got introduced - At Last by Etta James. Now, I have a super soft spot for that song because it was my first dance, and she did an amazing job.
A few pictures by yours truly by the guest book....
Scott from Murray Hill had no trouble getting everyone out on the dance floor!
Congratulations!!!
