Hello blog stalkers!

And yes, Kim, I’m talking about you. ;) I seem to be on an unofficial one-month anniversary pattern with my wedding clients! Julia got my name from a friend of hers who has been a guest at not one, but two of my weddings. She insisted that Julia check out my site, and I’m so glad she did.

Julia and Nick had a great October day in downtown Boston. Everything took place right at the Boston Harbor Hotel and went as smooth as can be.

While I was with the ladies, Jeff was hanging out with the guys…

Julia gave all her girls earrings as bridesmaid gifts - lucky ladies!

Since everything was all at one location, Julia and Nick had a "first look" before the ceremony. It was so adorable. I think anyone who thinks they are missing out by seeing each other before the ceremony should ask these two!

I loooooooved the color scheme. The blues of the bridesmaid dresses and orangey flowers were gorgeous.

You all know I love a series!!!! These two made it easy.

Even though Julia and Nick saw each other before the ceremony, it was still a pretty emotional trip down the aisle.

I wanted to get a quick shot of them right before they went into the reception....I was already across the street, Julia saw me and came running. I've never seen anyone in a wedding dress move so fast!

Ali and Patrick - it was great to see you guys, too! Only about 7 months to go.

Hi everyone!

Here’s another great engagement session for you! And lest you think that I am recycling old clients, this is Hillary‘s twin sister. :)

We started off by cruising around their neighborhood. I was just saying how much my husband and I love Anchovie’s, and then we turned the corner and there it was!

I love all the cool front steps in the South End...

Now this might not be the most EXCITING wall ever (although I love how it's all grungy and how that vine frames them perfectly), but the light there was soooooooo pretty.

Ali's favorite wall! She scouted it out earlier that day.

Back to their place for a quick wardrobe change, loved their stairwell so we got a quick few there.

By the time we got back out to the Harbor Walk, it was, um....what's the technical term? Dark. Yup. Dark out. No worries! Still pretty!

And this was with light from the streetlight.

It was great see you again!!! Next June will be here before you know it!!!

Hello out there to all my Rosey & Tony stalkers!!!
Sorry to keep you waiting, but there was SO much to share with this wedding, it took me awhile to get everything together for you! So, without further ado………..here we go!!

So, right before their big day, the Bruins won the Stanley Cup - hooray! And scheduled the giant parade/celebration on their wedding day - fantastic!!! I talked to Rosey about it and she was completely calm and relaxed, and I knew this was going to be a great day no matter what. I got into Boston * ridiculously * early, and everything went super smooth.

I started out with the ladies at the very stylish Hyatt Regency. A little last minute manicure for a flower girl...

and Vera Wang sent someone over for some last minute bustle adjustment...

Lots of people ask me if I get stressed out shooting a wedding, and most of the time I'm fine...but moving the dress around to take pictures of it before the bride climbs in usually does stress me out a bit. But look how lovely!

Before a bride goes anywhere after putting on her dress, I like to get a few quick portraits. Make up is perfect, hair is perfect, dress is perfect, and they are just brimming with excitement.

Across town, Mark was hanging with the guys who were doing copious amounts of tie-adjusting.

They rode over to the hotel to meet us on the trolley...

And.............cue the thunderstorm.

Pah! Thunderstorm, schmunderstorm...........Rosey and Tony had their first look and the sun was out again. Anyone who thinks they are missing out on a moment by doing pictures beforehand should maybe ask these two what they think. I think it was still pretty special. Love this shot of them in front of "Boston".

Rosey looked amazing in her dress, but I think Tony was also rockin' this suit pretty hard.

We all jumped into the trolley and headed over to the Public Garden to do some pictures of them and the wedding party. I started shooting before we even got inside because I was loving the light, the bricks, and no frisbee players in the background!

Rosey and her mom lead the bridal party (all 20-something of them!) in.

But also goof balls, love it.

Also, very big on the displays of affection. :)

This one was pretty much straight out of camera - love how they are framed by the bridge.

So........now we get to pull up to the Museum of Science for the ceremony. It kind of already felt like a full day already at that point. I actually powered down a pb&j on the way (what can I say, I'm a mom), this bridesmaid opted for a 5-hour energy with a Bud Light back to recharge. Hey - whatever works!

Gretchen from Enchanted Wedding Cakes contacted me before the wedding date because she was so excited about their cake and wanted to be sure to get a photo of it. Even the boutique supplier of the special coconut wanted pictures of it! It was gorgeous, and reminded me of Rosey's dress.

Between the flowers and all of the coordinating details, the Museum of Science looked amazing, and you can't beat the view!

Hello everyone!

Thanks for checking in! The lilacs are in bloom here all around the studio, and it is finally feeling like spring. About a week ago, I headed into the South End to meet Rosey and Tony for the first time. I will be shooting their wedding at the Museum of Science next month, and now I am even more excited about it!

Here they are….home sweet home..

We snuck in a picture of their "daily driver". Luckily since they both work in Boston, they don't need to drive it much. :)

We ducked into Buttery for a little caffeine. Check out all the cupcakes & treats. I would be in serious trouble if I could walk to a place like this from the studio.
