So fun to be blogging another wedding!! I had two in June that I couldn’t blog, so I might have gone a bit overboard with pics on this one to make up for it.

When Erin came into the studio we couldn’t stop chatting! A little about weddings, but also about Hawaii, being a teacher (I used to be!), and running marathons (she has…I want to!). She was a good sport that it was about 98 degrees with 140% humidity on her wedding day. Ok, I might be exaggerating a * little * bit, but it was HOT!!!!!!!!!

Staying cool by whatever means necessary!

I really think Erin's hairdresser should have won some kind of gold medal for this hairstyle, it looked perfect all night long without looking slicked back.

I was so in love with this place! The furniture, the windows, the stairs.....and Erin looked lovely everywhere!!!

The guys were hanging out outside....staying out of view!

I was very lucky to have the super talented Kristin with me, a Rhode Island pro!! She was with the guys who loved getting their picture taken all day. Seriously – they would not stop hamming it up! This is probably the most serious picture of them.

So, after doing a bunch of great pictures in the beautiful gardens, how about some with the ocean??

Erin framed quotes from her students about love and marriage. Adorable.

Did they do the chicken dance? Oh yes they did! I know most people think it's cheesy, but I kind of think it's so cheesy it's cute. I loved it ever since I saw He Said, She Said with Kevin Bacon. I tried my best to find the scene on youtube, but I think that this movie was before youtube’s time! (And yes, I did it at my wedding. Go ahead….laugh it up…)

I also see lots of kissing from the clinking of glasses...but this was a good one! Chris walked across the room and kissed her in a giant dip.

So happy that mother nature was on my side a couple weeks ago when meeting up with Sarah and Tim on Cape Cod. They had driven up from New Jersey, and their wedding is next month, so it was now or never!!! They will be getting married at Wychmere Harbor Club at the end of July.

First stop, Wellfleet Harbor…

Then we cruised around downtown Wellfleet which was just perfect…

Love this one outside the Wellfleet market store window…

Then off to LeCount’s Hollow…

And finished up at the beach where they got engaged…

I had a great time with you guys! Hope you enjoyed your Arnold’s after the shoot!

Amidst all the weird rainy days we’ve been having, I finally got a beautiful evening to walk around Boston with Pamela and Bill! Their big day is in September at the lovely Gibbet Hill.

You know I love a good series!

Don’t you love how just a little bit of a walk in Boston gets you all kinds of backgrounds?

It was nice to see the North End again, Stephen and I lived there for three years. And when we did, we would get Pizzeria Regina about every five days. (Good thing I had to walk a half hour to my car everyday!) After the shoot, I picked up a large Pollo Regina and brought it home as a surprise, and my husband was very excited!!

Looking forward to September!!!

I feel like this is usually the time of year when my season is just getting rolling, but here I am blogging my sixth wedding of the year! Katy was (of course) hoping for a sunny day for their wedding day, but when we arrived to start shooting, there was definitely some rain coming down. It did however, make for some beautiful window light…..and you know how I am about the shoes….

These were the bridesmaids gifts...I love them. And they're purple. Shocking, I know.

Pretty, pretty, pretty.........

So, a lot of brides like to pretend to put on the boutonniere for a photo-op, but Katy did it for-real! And fast!

Off to the church....I see a little sun....

Also shocking that I loved her programs, too. :)

It was such a pretty church that just got brighter and brighter...

Love their expressions during the ceremony!

And of course their little dog made an appearance, all decked out in a mini-doggie bridesmaid dress.

Off to Gibbet Hill, where there were some amazingly dramatic skies. We opted out of climbing the giant hill to the castle like we did for their e-shoot.

The favors had seeds for good luck clovers - so cute.

Yes, I have seen a LOT of weddings, but no, I'm not a robot. I saw Katy's mom crying during her dance with her dad, and totally started tearing up. She had managed not to cry all day, but this just pushed her over the edge. And then of course, I imagine myself watching my daughter (who just turned five this week!!) dancing with my husband and it was all over. Sniff.
