Hello everyone!

Hope ya’ll are having a great spring and are ready for another beautiful weekend.  I spent my cinco de mayo on gorgeous Cape Cod.  The weather was misty but beautiful in its own way.  I started at the bride’s family’s house, where I got to meet Caroline for the first time!  She is one of the many email/phone/skype brides that I booked this year.  She was so laidback (as are most of my clients, happily!) that it didn’t even make a difference.

For example, have you ever been at a wedding where the bride wore Crocs?  This is my 10th season shooting weddings and it was a first for me. I also got to photograph Meredith Fancy’s beautiful flowers….she was my wedding florist when I got married, so I definitely have a soft spot for her lovely work.

Caroline really wanted Matthew’s reaction to her coming down the aisle, I got it, and I even got to hear him say “wow” just under his breath….

All the renovations are just stunning…I haven’t shot a wedding there in two years so it was really cool to see how everything came together.

The sibling and parent toasts get me every time.

Cigars, anyone?

According to the super-awesome schedule Caroline sent me….they just got back from their honeymoon last night…so I hope these images will help them adjust back to “regular life”.

Hello everyone!

Well, the pace is fast & furious from here on out and I’m going to do my best to stay current! I’m sure you all remember “Kate & Daryl” {aka Crate & Barrel} from a few weeks ago. They tied the knot in April at Harrington Farm and it was a perfect day. Of course there was the threat of rain, and it was actually misting when I pulled in, but the clouds continued on their way and they had an awesome day!

Ah yes….the shoes…the dress….and of course the “fancy” flip-flops.

My favorite getting ready moment was when Kate was wondering to herself if she was going to cry going down the aisle, and then just thinking about it made her start to cry!

Meanwhile, the guys were chilling out down the hall with some Wachusett Ale.

I'm IN LOVE with their flowers. Or lack there-of. Think ferns...artichoke hearts....Seed to Stem did an amazing job.

Their recessional was "Eye of the Tiger". Of course it was! They are Team Awesome after all.

The grounds were so much fun to shoot on.

The room looked amazing - they left some tables bare wood which totally went with the feel of their wedding.

Even a glitch in the music didn't stop these two....they did a little "freeze dance" when the music stopped....and then encouraged their guests to sing their wedding song instead, which they did.

I nearly forgot to bust out the "&" again!!! We snuck out in between courses for a couple more pictures. So fun because we got to use all the funky old sheds & barns in the back of the building.

It was so tempting to just put my camera down and hang out on all these cool funky sofas they had on the back patio. How fun!!! I settled for having a cocktail by the fire pit when I got home. :)

Congratulations Team Awesome! I just loved how your sisters were both so protective of you and wary of any new romantic interests....but when they met each of you, they were both convinced you two found the perfect match.

Hello everyone!

Thought I might give you all a peek into what I’m up to in the studio these days. It’s all albums….all the time!! It seems that after the holidays and new year, everyone collects their thoughts and says – “Hey! Let’s do our album!”. That works out just fine for me, as not too many people want to do sessions outside in 40 degree weather with dirty melting snow.

Here’s Andrea & Steve’s album that is getting packed up to be shipped out. Their wedding was in October, she gave me her picks in January, made a few changes to the layout and it is shipping out this week.

Love this spread of them cracking up during the ceremony.....

Here are a few layouts of albums that are on order right now....

These are a couple of layouts from Lauren and Steve's wedding in August. They sent in their picks at the end of January, had no changes to the layout, and it is ready to send off to the album manufacturer.....

And here are a couple from Rosey & Tony's album...they received their first layout back in November, but their schedules got crazy and weren't able to approve the design until January. It is now at the album manufacturer and should be here in a few weeks. Can't wait to see it!

Those last layouts are typical of what you will see as a preview when ordering your album. It gives you a nice idea of what the album will look like, and you are still able to make changes and swap things around.

hello everybody!!

Crazy warm winter we’re having, isn’t it? In our meetings Rosemary was so worried about her wedding guests attending her wedding…didn’t want them to get too cold in a receiving line, didn’t want them to slip on snow or ice at the church…not too much of an issue this year!

I actually probably first met Rosemary when I was 12. We grew up in North Attleboro together, and I was good friends with her older sister Lisa. Through the magic of facebook, when Rosemary got engaged, her sister insisted that she contact me, and I’m so glad she did.

Rosemary’s family has always had big family reunions at the Mansfield Holiday Inn, so it was a really special place for them, and the natural choice for her and Brian’s big day.

I started there as she was getting ready with her sisters.

Katie started over at the church, where it was no big deal to get lots of outside photos before everyone started arriving.

All set to go!!!

I love this one of the two of them at the top of the aisle, they both look like the cat that swallowed the canary. :)

The light coming in from the front of the church was just gorgeous.

Brian and Rosemary had a few "technical difficulties" with the unity candle. I think it took about two and a half minutes to get it lit!
