Hello everyone!

I’ve got some catching up to do on the blog here! October is always a busy month here at the studio, and this year is no exception!

I met Elizabeth and Ryan via Skype (yay technology!) as they were planning their Boston wedding long distance. Ryan is currently serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and they chose to have their reception at the U.S.S. Constitution museum to be able to share and enjoy all of the maritime sights and history with their family and friends.

We started down the block at their hotel. It was a pretty rainy day, but the rain held off for a bit, so we took a little stroll outside.

And then the rain started up, and after an epic-umbrella fail, we ducked into the archway for a few. Luckily I still had a functioning umbrella to stand out in the rain to get the shot!

We managed to score a cab for a 2 minute ride over the museum, and had fun roaming around the exhibits getting some more shots.

Elizabeth and Ryan wanted a cocktail-style reception, and their caterer did not disappoint! Everything looked amazing, and Elizabeth said in lieu of a traditional vendor meal, I could feel free to snack on the the passed hors d’oeuvres and stations. Please and thank you! Um, is that a giant pile of bacon I see?

Such a sweet first dance.

Congratulations you two!!! I know you got rain on your wedding day, but I’m so happy you had a sunny honeymoon!!
