Hello everyone!
September cape wedding fun continues!!!
For this wedding, I got to meet Bridget at her parents’ cape house and start shooting there. Bridget and Erik are from Massachusetts, but are currently living in Chicago (hope to get there someday!!! anyone want to fly me out for a wedding??!). I had never met them, but it really didn’t matter as they were super friendly and welcoming!
We started with a first look on the Wychmere beach. Erik looks so alone out there in the dunes!!!
We then had time to do photos of them on the beach and in front of the dune grass. They look so perfectly cape-y with the touches of navy blue.
After the beach we headed up to the overlook for a few more and to do the family photos. It’s nice to have a few options, and to not make the parents do the trek down to the beach.

We had time for a few more of Bridget and Erik on the dock, and then one on the Ocean Room deck upstairs.
They had their reception in the Ocean Room. The Ocean Room feels modern (without being trendy) and beachy with a stunning view from pretty much anywhere. I love the burlap on the the tables.
Bridget and Erik were toasted by her sister and Erik’s best men who are twins. They were pretty entertaining, and the best part is they surprised them with their Parish Cafe “Mug Club” Mugs!!!!
As you can see everyone had fun with the Big City Wedding Band. The craziest part is that I went to college with the drummer! We were even in a band together (a very big band). They played Earth, Wind & Fire’s September….and it really was the 21st night of September!
Congratulations to Bridget and Erik!!!! I hope it was the beautiful Cape Cod weekend you were dreaming of!! I think you enjoyed every minute!
