bridget + philip || andover country club + phillips academy

Hi everyone!!

Hope you all are enjoying this gorgeous weather. I’m not really embracing the chilly mornings, but I do love the crisp afternoons. If we could just arrange to have the same weather as last year, that would be totally fine with me. Ok, maybe a * couple * more snowstorms.

Anyway, I’ve got some beautiful images for you. Bridget and Philip were one of my many couples who were planning a long-distance wedding, and hired me without meeting in person. I know I’ve said it before, but I find this happening more and more! They did get to stop into the studio on one of their planning trips, and that just got me more excited for their big day. Philip attended Phillips Academy, and that is also where he proposed to Bridget, so the location was definitely meaningful for them.

I started right next to the chapel and the Andover Inn where Bridget was getting ready.

I totally loved her something blue – an old Snoopy watch!!!

Her dress was gorgeous and she looked stunning in it….love the open back.

Since the hotel was only about 40 yards away from the chapel, there were no worries about traffic! They just walked next door when it was time.

The light in the chapel was just beautiful. So glad I was allowed in to take pictures! Ha! {I’ve had two weddings this year that didn’t allow any photography at all during the ceremony if you are just joining us….}

Married!!

After the ceremony we walked across the street to do photos on the grounds of the school. I wish it were closer – I would shoot there all the time!!

Awesome job with the first dance, even better ending!

I adore this image of Philip hugging Bridget….I think it was when Bridget’s maid of honor was teasing them about being a perfect match because they are both obsessed with using hand sanitizer.

Impromptu serenade.

Unity was there and awesome as usual!!

Philip surprised Bridget with a traditional Lebanese dance. If google serves me right…I think it is called the Dabka? Anyway, they did a great job and it was super fun to watch!

Congratulations!!!! Go ahead and congratulate them yourself in the comments, and wish them a happy one month anniversary!!!
