Hi there and happy September!!!
So, no one wants to say goodbye to summer, but everyone loves fall!!! I have a few more August weddings to share with you before we get all autumnal and Octoberfest-y up in here. 🙂 Candace and Matt scored much better weather for their wedding day than their super hot & sticky engagement shoot!
They were both pretty cool, calm, and collected when we got there! Can’t beat the view and I looooove Candace’s sparkly shoes.

We did a first look right outside the hotel. Very sweet and now time for pictures!
How much do you love the flower girl’s dress? So fashionable!!! And pictures in front of the skyline are a must, but we also went across the street to a park there. It was great – lovely trees, cool brick background, and the Charles!
Back to the Sonesta to make it legal!!!

The ring they used for the ceremony was Candace’s grandfather’s great-grandmother’s ring (I think!). So special. Also – Candace looks adorable even while getting bustled. Selfie!
Ok, I know you all know I am food-obsessed. I love food, I can eat a- LOT, and I can also eat really fast (especially when I’m working!!) I’ve seen lots of yummy hors d’oeuvres….but get a load of these!! Fancy comfort food!!! Mini grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, and fancy mac & cheese! I would have been thrilled if that was my vendor meal. 😉
Tangerine Creations did a fabulous job with the room. I just couldn’t get enough of those dark pink fuzzy flowing flowers. I love all of Candace & Matt’s special touches, too.
The dance floor was rockin’ all night – in between every course! And I’ve seen my fair share of worms and back spins, but I think this was my first full-on split. Ow!!
So, when I discuss timeline with my clients, I always say that I never quite make it out the door right on time. And, if it’s time to go, and we are packing up and heading out, but all of a sudden you change your mind and you DO want to throw your bouquet, or your grandmother who you didn’t think was going to make it to the wedding is dancing with the groom, of course I will stop and take a few photos before leaving. I think this wedding was a perfect example. We were all done, all packed up (except for one camera), and suddenly a Hora starts!!! So glad I got these images!!!
