Edie and Ben || Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston, MA

Edie and Ben had an amazing day – so many great details, locations, and traditions I might have gone a bit overboard…but here we go! I met Ben four years ago at his brother’s wedding, and was so flattered that he wanted me to shoot his wedding, too. Everything took place at the Boston Harbor…

Heather just sent me your blog about Ben and Edie’s wedding. Your photos are exceptionally fantastic…just what I hoped for from you. It was a pleasure to see you again. I’m sorry I don’t have more kids for your wedding shoots. But I’m sure the little Breslau twins will be great hams for your camera. Thanks so much for your incredible eyes behind the camera. I can’t wait to see all of the photos. Ben and Edie are arriving today from SA. Enjoy your son…they go to other women so fast.
    Fondly,
    Susan (MOG)ReplyCancel

Those photos totally capture the event, the personalities, the deep feelings, and even the fabulous architecture and food! My favorite one is the bride and groom up against the red wall. Looks like the cover of an album! The one with Ben walking with the little girl is universal. What a fantastic time we had at your wedding…we will never, never forget it…and can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures. Keep’em coming.ReplyCancel

Great pictures — thanks, Nancy! No, I don’t mind that you got one of me dancing with my tongue out. There is a reason, after all, that I am known as the Michael Jordan of dance. And I’m so glad you got one of ‘the Rick’ — my father’s patented dance move.ReplyCancel

The pictures came out amazing. Nancy, I attended the wedding and noticed how you went out of your way every time to capture to perfect shot even if it required you getting down on the floor to catch the right angle. The wedding was beautiful and Hayley and Jarod are fortunate to have had you there to photograph all the intimate moments.ReplyCancel

fabulous/not-so fabulous – #11

Next entry is from Heather, a 2005 bride. I remember her ceremony being very well-done and entertaining, as well! Sometimes having a friend or family member perform the ceremony can be a bit of a disaster, but not in this situation! “I still glow when I think about what a phenomenal experience our wedding was….
