Weddings

To say that I enjoy my job is an understatement. I LOVE my job! Every minute of the wedding day – from the pre-ceremony jitters to the walk down the aisle to the very last dance, is full of anticipation and joy. As a self-described romantic, I might gush about the bouquet or volunteer to tie the bows on the bridesmaid dresses. I’ll tell the bride if she has something in her teeth and I have been known to carry extra Hollywood tape in my camera bag. Whatever it takes to get the job done right.

As a photographer, I enjoy capturing distinctive moments — be it a spontaneous burst of emotion or subtle detail—in a low-key manner. Simply put, you’ll barely notice I’m there. For me, a great wedding album tells the true story of an important day without ever looking like a staged, unnatural event. That being said, I realize the significance of some formal pictures, and work with my clients to achieve those in a quick, friendly manner without turning their wedding day into a photo shoot.

Now for the nitty gritty:
Basic coverage for small events starts at $3000, but most clients invest between $4000 and $6000 for complete wedding coverage, including but not limited to on-line proofing, proof book, photo booth, albums and ownership of high-resolution files. I also offer a registry service, because, let’s face it – wouldn’t you rather have a beautiful canvas wrap than a toaster?

PORTRAITS

I love photographing people being themselves!

Yes - I realize that lots of people want the classic photo of everyone looking at the camera for the holiday card (we can get that, I promise), or the beautiful portrait for the yearbook, but it's all of those in-between moments that really capture your family's vibe.

A portrait of you and your baby snuggling on the couch where you spent so many cozy hours together, your little man running in your backyard where he found his first caterpillar, your teenager rolling her eyes at you (but smiling at the same time) - these are truly great images I love to make!

I am committed to providing an enjoyable experience for you as we create these memories, from the first phone call to the final installation.

There are several different session options available, you can see them here, but feel free to shoot me an email as well and I'm happy to answer any questions.

Products available include but are not limited to: unique coffee table books and albums, fine art canvas wraps, and custom cards for holidays and announcements.
