jennifer and rick || the dennis inn || dennis, ma

Hi everyone!!

Well, the fall season is definitely here! It is super busy here in the studio. Lots of weddings, portraits, and fun new bookings for 2013! As always, I continue to be super grateful for all my clients that allow me to have this awesome job!

I know Jen & Rick are dying to see their images….so here we go! I think these two love going down to the cape as much as Stephen and I do. Jen was even lucky enough to grow up there! She got ready in her childhood room. I can’t tell you how much I love when this happens. Just something about all your prized possessions from your childhood around you on this pretty historic day…..ok, I know I’m getting crazy sentimental, but here’s what I mean….
Figment!!

Other things to love – the “I am Happy today” doll, the photo of Jen in a panda suit throwing out a first pitch, and the Eiffel Tower (which Jen and Rick got to see on their honeymoon, but I’m getting ahead of myself).

Since I’m a sucker for pictures in general, I couldn’t help but notice the picture of Jen’s grandmother – I love her dress! Jen used the tulle from her grandmother’s dress for her veil, and some material from her mom’s dress around her bouquet and purse. (I think I got that right, let me know if I’m wrong!) Also, check out the giant family picture….more on that later.

Gorgeous & ready to go! Amy started at the church with the guys. Rick was looking pretty handsome, as well.

Check out the ring pillow with the little heart. Sweet!

Married!!!

After the ceremony, we went over to Corporation Beach. Even though it was September, it was still a great beach day. How beautiful!!!!! I love the greens & blues.

We did a few more once we got to the Dennis Inn and it wasn’t quite so windy!!!

Jen and Rick had a cranberry theme for their Cape Cod wedding. I thought the chalkboard trays were really cool, and also loved the look of the CHEDDAR BISCUITS!!! They had either pulled pork or pot roast or something delicious like that inside. I didn’t have one, but all I had to say to get the wedding party to smile was “Cheddar Biscuits!!”.

The reception started outside the inn in a huge, beautiful tent. They was a teeny tiny dance floor right in the middle for them to do their first dance and parent dances.

After dinner, guests were invited inside for cupcakes and dancing!

So, remember that family picture on the wall? Well, it’s a tradition at every wedding, and here’s the one we did that night! Also, who doesn’t love a pyramid?!!

Congratulations!!!!!! Thanks for having me – you guys were awesome and SO relaxed!!! I hope it was the perfect Cape Cod day you were dreaming of!!!
