Katie + John || Boston College and Wellesley Country Club

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying this amazing summer!! I have a beautiful Boston College wedding to share with you, and I know that everyone who was there is anxiously awaiting these photos!! It was a very long day with lots of different locations, so there is certainly a lot to share!

We started out at the Lowes Hotel in downtown Boston where everyone was getting ready. I found out that Katie is a huge fan of maps like me! I love this shot of her getting her make-up done with the map in the background. Also love these hangers for the bridesmaids with the etched names. (and then there is Katie showing off her iced coffee for the “Bride”)

Katie had a dragonfly pin of her grandmother’s in her bouquet, and her sister had her grandfather’s ring.

We did the first look at Boston College – where Katie and John both went to school!

We had lots of time to do photos of the two of them together and with their families there.

It is so fun going through photos and seeing things that were happening at the same time, Kelly got this beautiful shot from behind Katie while I was shooting her portrait.

I just couldn’t get over how gorgeous the campus was. I was so glad that we had so much time to walk around and take advantage of all the different locations.

We ducked into this library for a quick minute – how perfect!!

The bridal party joined us and we kept exploring…

How cool is this outdoor amphitheater?

And here are some of the fabulous bridesmaid’s hairstyle in case anyone is looking for inspiration! Pin away!

After a few minutes to relax, we headed over to the other corner of campus for the ceremony at the St. Ignatius Church.

Married!!

After the ceremony we headed down the street to the Wellesley Country Club. I loved the mix of centerpieces and the plates they used.

Even though we had so many great pictures at BC – we couldn’t pass up the gorgeous backdrop at WCC, so we snuck John and Katie out of cocktail hour for a couple minutes to take advantage.

Katie told me she was a big fan of photos that were mostly landscape with the bride and groom fairly small in the frame. Done and done!

Nothing like a good roast/toast to get great reaction shots!

I absolutely adore how John brought Katie in for a nice squeeze after the cake cutting. 🙂

The band was Beantown, and they rocked it of COURSE. They are probably my favorite band for weddings. How could you not love a band that has five singers? And a violin AND trumpet player??!

Congratulations to both of you!! I know you are already back at work/school, but hopefully these photos will bring the day back for you! 🙂
