Laura + Pete || Agricultural Hall || Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts

Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!!

I am headed to Maryland in a couple of days, but I am so excited to share this Martha’s Vineyard wedding with you before I go!!

So, part of the trouble of being a wedding photographer is that you see so many cool things that you wish you had at your wedding. Laura and Pete’s wedding kind of makes me want to go back and do it all over, but just like theirs! In a barn on a farm in Martha’s Vineyard – so perfect.

They had a very relaxed vintage feel to the entire day. We started out at Isabelle’s Beach House, where I immediately fell in love with their guest welcome bags, as well as their invitations. Do they look familiar?? They are styled after the cover of the Farmer’s Almanac. {There was a bit of a farming theme throughout…Laura said her and Pete kind of fantasize about being farmers. 😉 }

No shoes to photograph here – just piggy toes! Laura was barefoot all day – from the guest house to the lighthouse, at the ceremony and on the dance floor {even though it stressed me out when there was broken glass!}.

First look!

Our first stop was to the house they always stay when they come.

On our way to the Agricultural Hall we stopped off at a lighthouse for some photos.

The ceremony was right at the hall under two trees – so lovely.

Married!

What a fun place to take pictures. And Cooper was happy to tag along. I would make this center picture into a giant canvas {just sayin’}.

The hall looked amazing, every table was so unique. The place cards and table numbers were seed packets & vintage seed cards.

Instead of a wedding cake they had brownie pops from Yummy Mummy Brownies! My clients from the last few years should all know how good they are!

I was totally in love with the china plates and tea cups. I don’t know why coffee tastes better in an antique tea cup, but it just does.

There were lots of lawn games, too. Not entirely sure what the one with the wooden blocks was, but people seemed to be having fun!

Smoking Jackets was the band and they were SO fun! Could not believe it was just two guitars and a drumset.

Thank you so much for trusting me sight unseen to capture this special day for you two. I don’t think it could have been any more perfect for you!
