Hello everyone!!
I cannot believe we are rapidly approaching the end of the year! How does this happen??!! I have one more beautiful fall Cape Cod wedding to share with you!
Lindsey and Danny came out to the studio last winter to meet with me. I was right in the throes of marathon training at the time – and Lindsey was so excited for me to run my first marathon. She has run FOUR! Apparently, it works out really well for her and Danny, because while she was on her long training runs, he would go fishing. 🙂
Kristin started the day with the guys who were checking out the Red Sox parade before heading over the Wychmere. Of course you know I was loving all the purple accents!
We did their first look out on the dock, it was such a mild beautiful November day!!
Loved the purple and grey…and also all the groomsmen’s Sperrys!!! Everyone just looked so much happier not walking around in uncomfortable shiny shoes.
After the bridal party photos, we went down to the beach with Lindsey and Danny and were met with a MASSIVE pile of seaweed – holy cow!! I had never seen it like that before, but it adds a splash of color, don’t you think? ha!
Who doesn’t love the beach grass?? 🙂
After we were done, it was time to head back up to Wychmere for the ceremony. Danny’s uncle performed the ceremony upstairs in the Ocean Room. Love the thumbs up on their way back down the aisle!
They had lots of photos around the Hydrangea Room for the cocktail hour – I had never seen them displayed like this and I thought it was so cool!! Also love the “friend on a stick” who couldn’t be there in person!
Danny’s dance with his mom was to Daniel by Elton John – the song he was named for! So sweet. I have a soft spot for stuff like that….my dance with my dad at my wedding was Nancy by Frank Sinatra. {although that’s not where I got my name! 🙂 }
They had a clambake for the dinner, and everyone looked like they were having such a great time attacking those lobsters!!
They chose a cupcake table over plated cake….YUM.
A big congratulations to Lindsey and Danny!!! You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and I hope that you enjoyed every minute of it!! 🙂
