Hi there everyone!
I am starting this blog post as Hurricane Sandy gets closer….hope that I can finish it before the power goes out!
Fortunately, there were no hurricanes on the horizon for Mary Ellen & Ethan’s wedding on Cape Cod. I’m sure that Wychmere would have been able to handle it, but it’s just not what you picture on your wedding day!
I started down the road with the ladies getting ready. The light was amazing, and the flowers and dress were gorgeous! Mary Ellen had a charm that was her grandfather’s on her bouquet. I am so sentimental and just love things like that.
Can you see the barefoot cookies peeking out of the welcome bag? 😉

Amy was back at Wychmere with the guys. They were totally game for photos which makes it that much more fun.

Mary Ellen and her girls outside the house….the blue…(aqua? teal?) of their dresses really pops….and even the hydrangea coordinates with the bouquets.
So, even though Amy and I were about 5 miles apart….we took these photos at the exact same time. Isn’t that neat? I love it when stuff works out like that. First look at the Overlook!!
So, I know this first image is not your classic, timeless wedding portrait….but I adore it and think it captures how fun these two were!!!
Since we took care of all the pictures before hand, now the only thing to do is wait for the ceremony to begin….The weather was a little iffy, so they had the ceremony right in the Harbor Room. Beautiful.

They used the Hydrangea Room for their cocktail hour…the set-up is so unique. Mary Ellen even brought in color coordinated pillow for the couch!
The reception was in the Harbor Room and it looked amazing.
Cap off the night with some cigars on the patio and you are good to go!!!
