Meg and Joe || Omni Parker House || Boston, MA

I had a fantastic start to my wedding season a few weeks ago! Meg is from this area, but currently living in St. Louis. She found me through a friend, and I only met her in person the week of the wedding. We started off at her parent’s house…
I loved her dress….she got it at Allegria Bridal, and they attached custom straps on to it for her –

Meanwhile, her brother was hamming it up with the bridesmaids by the antique car.

Loved the light in the church.

We did a lot of the pictures right next to the church, it was a great location!

Kelly took this picture of me photographing Meg & Joe – too bad I don’t have fun when I’m working!

But seriously, when you are shooting a couple this adorable, of course it’s fun!

Meg saw this one on the website and wanted to be sure she got a picture under the sign!

OK, now here’s where I reveal my family-photo dorkiness. I saw a couple of old-timey photographs at Meg’s mom’s house….

I love these pictures! I remember doing one with my friend Jen in Florida when we were 16. Right before they entered the reception, I was looking around at the great old room we were in, and thought it would be so fun to make another one for them. What do you think?

Greg Hodges was the DJ (you can see him waaaay to the right), so of course there was NO problem getting great dancing pics. He was mixing one song into the next, it was super-fun (and I wasn’t even dancing…I swear).

I should also mention Lynne was the videographer and was fantastic, as usual….you won’t see her in any pics because she keeps a low profile. Also, Alexis was there with her team making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish – makes my day easier!

Meg and Joe, I had a fantastic time with you guys! I hope you had a fabulous time in Hawaii, can’t wait for you to see the rest.
