Oh facebook, how I love you facebook. When I left college, I had an email address, but only knew about 3 other people that had one, as well. Also, no cell phone. Unless you are going to send letters to your college friends’ parents’ house, it was a little bit more challenging to stay in touch than it is today.

And then there’s facebook. On the one hand, I don’t envy my 16 year old niece who could probably stay in touch with everyone in her third grade class for her entire life if she wanted to, but there are advantages! I got back in touch with one of my closest college friends a few years ago through facebook, and it has been so fun reconnecting. When her best friend got engaged, she insisted that she call me!!

We had originally planned on doing their engagement shoot in Boston, maybe near the Public Garden or the reflecting pool, but then had to reschedule. Pia and Brian called me and said – is it crazy if we do it at Legacy Place? They had their first official date at P.F. Chang’s and wanted to return to the scene of the crime! I was totally digging the change of scenery!

I totally did not see that this said “Fire Kissed” until I was editing! Fun!

Since getting your picture taken is wicked hard work, Pia and Brian ducked into J.P. Licks for a couple cones to re-energize!

We even had time to grab a drink at P.F. Chang’s when we were done, and then burritos to-go at Qdobo. Not quite the same as Anna’s, but I’ll take it! I had a great time you guys – looking forward to August!!!
