Hello everyone!!!

Happy November! While the crazy shooting schedule has subsided here, tis the season for lots of fun ordering sessions with portrait clients and many, many hours in front of the computer! I have another October Cape Cod wedding to share with you!

Rachel and Jim were really hoping for a beautiful sunny day for their wedding, but did not necessarily bargain for 30 mph winds!!! Since it was so crazy out, we did a first look and photos before the ceremony. Fortunately, since Wychmere is gorgeous inside and out, this wasn’t a problem!

Not sure which I like more, the insanely high Badgley Mischka heels for the ceremony, or the “back-up” Jimmy Choos!!!

Beautiful!!! Rachel’s cousin handled the hair & make-up.

First look!

I really don’t think I’ve ever worked at the Wychmere with the same exact combination of locations. Rachel and Jim had their ceremony set up in the far end of the Harbor Room. I love love love the pile of seasonal pumpkins and gourds serving as their “altar flowers”. And bonus – Rachel got to take them home!

Rachel was the one who was nervous about the vows, but cool, calm collected Jim who had rehearsed them was the one who flubbed the lines a bit! So cute. 😉

After the ceremony and all of the formals, I sweet talked Rachel and Jim to brave the winds for a few more photos outside. How could I resist this light??!!! Trust your photographer people, it’s worth it. 🙂

I know Rachel really had her heart set on beach grass photos, so I tried to give that same effect with the grasses that are up on the lawn before the two of them got blown away.

Then we got to run around the inside a bit – in the main lobby and up in the Ocean Room. You can see the wind whipping up the water in the last photo.

The reception was in the Hydrangea Room – they chose beautiful gold embroidered table linens.

Congratulations to Rachel and Jim!! I hope you had a wonderful day – you deserve it!!!
