Hi everyone!

Happy September!!! Although it feels like mid-July – what gives??!!

Well, my string of perfect weather was bound to end at some point! Susan and Chad had a great destination wedding on Cape Cod. They planned the wedding from Texas where they both live. I loved hearing the Texan accents all weekend – they reminded me of my cousins and Aunt who live there!

They started off their weekend with a sunset cruise out of Hyannis Port. It was a bit on the cloudy and cool side, but still such a lovely ride! I’ve never been on one before! They had a great, relaxed time.

They had their wedding ceremony the next afternoon at their family home. Instead of happening in the backyard, they had it on the porch, but it ended up being a perfect spot!

They saw each other before the ceremony so we could get pretty much all of the family photos done. I love these shots of them hanging out before the ceremony.

Married!!

I always say that it never rains all day in Massachusetts, and sure enough it didn’t. We managed to go down the road a bit and get some fun shots on the beach. Of course it was actually drizzling on them in the last few but they were good sports!

Everyone headed over to Alberto’s restaurant afterwards for a lovely delicious dinner. I even got the Osso Bucco – yum!!!

Congratulations you two!!! You had a fabulous weekend even without the sunshine. I hope all your Texan family and friends enjoyed Cape Cod!!!
