Hi everyone!
I know I have some blog stalkers that have been waiting for this one!! Jil and Jordan were referred to me by another bride‘s cousin – and I hadn’t even shot her wedding yet! We had a lovely engagement shoot last fall, and now it was time for their awesome summer time cape cod wedding!!
They both got ready at the villas at Willowbend, and I got to go back and forth between the two as they got ready. Loved her dress – so sparkly!!!
We did the first look down the road at Oregon Beach. Or was it Ropes? 😉 It was very sweet.
We headed back to Willowbend to do some photos with the bridal party and their families. Love this shot of Jil’s grandmother seeing her for the first time – so sweet!!

During the ceremony they talked about why the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger. It was a really cool reading, you can see more about it here.
Jil and Jordan didn’t mind taking a few extra minutes during the cocktail hour to take a walk around the grounds at Willowbend.
Since we had already done most of the photos before the ceremony, I was able to photograph the cocktail hour. Don’t you love all the purple? It was definitely a theme, down to the purple-ink pen Jil had in her wedding binder!
At our meeting before the wedding Jil told me that she was having a candy bar, and I randomly asked what candy she was having in it. I know sometimes people do color themed candy bars, and while it looks cool, sometimes those blue-gummy circles just aren’t as good as, I don’t know…swedish fish? So, she told me she was doing a purple-themed candy bar, but with one exception – swedish fish!!! Love it!!!

Congratulations Jil & Jordan!!! I love that you enjoyed the last days of summer and are going to take your honeymoon when it is cold and miserable!
